This Christmas has been a good one, though extremely tiring. Shoveled two driveways today from five to eight inches of snow. Most of northeastern Oklahoma was under a blizzard last night and it produced some nice ice and snow. My brother was stuck an hour away in Stillwater for Christmas, which is very unfortunate. It makes me realize on an extremely small level what it feels like for soldiers to be away from home during the holidays. I am headed to my mother’s house this evening to celebrate over there. It has been good, but quite exhausting. I hope everyone else has had a great holiday and looking forward to a good new year. I’ll be Florida bound in two days.
