So, today was constructive. I got to sleep in until 9:00am, which isn’t really sleeping in, especially on a Saturday. I went to the wakeboarding competition with some crew and we documented some of it and got some interviews. Shaun Murray is the man we’re doing a documentary on and according to online research, “Shaun Murray is a four-time World champion wakeboarder, and the main character featured in Activision’s video game “Wakeboarding Unleashed”.
I met him today and he seems like a pretty cool guy. All the fans and other wakeboard athletes said nothing but great things about him, so we’re headed to the competition early tomorrow morning and will be there all day. I hope everything goes well. Then in the following weeks we’ll be doing some more interviews with Shaun, incorporating his life and what he’s done to become who he is today. I’ll be looking forward to the final result and eventually an awesome short documentary. Until then, I’ll be slacking in sleep and working in front of a computer for quite awhile.
I added another trailer to my Videos tab, under the Media section at the top of the site. Hopefully within the next 7 days, I’ll have the actual short film, roughly seven minutes. It is a decent film, though it was a difficult shoot to do and edit, especially for a first time ‘official’ shoot at school. As they say, learning from experience is best.
