Awful Films

Repo: The Genetic Opera was quite awful. I was really expecting something great, but that didn’t happen. To be honest the opening scene was even horrible, and it kept that way. The music was pretty cool though, some parts. I couldn’t bear to put myself through watching all of it, so like most movies I dislike, I put it in 32x speed and watched what I could from there. It was pretty ridiculous.

Aside from that, the movie Mamma Mia was not enjoyable either. I thought the acting was quite terrible, along with some of the camera shots and continuity. The concept of the story was kind of interesting, but wasn’t believable. The three men should have been asking each other questions and thought logically as to why the 3 of them were there at the same time.

I am in the process of watching Dances with Wolves, which turns out to be a 3 hour and 56 minute movie. It’s good so far. Kevin Costner has a pretty stellar voice-over voice and I swear he does a voice-over in another movie for maybe a cartoon or something. I’ll have to look into that. I have a three day weekend in which I am trying to get as much done as possible. I’m in the process of doing laundry and slowly cleaning up around my place, doing dishes and what not.

Don’t have much planned, but on a positive side note, for the last three days I have slept at regular times. I hope it can continue this way. I move 1 month from today, or sooner. Let’s see things start unfolding and working out.

  1. Dad says:

The scenery is great, the music is wonderful, John Barry got the Oscar for the Soundtrack I believe.
Kevin Costner did direct himself in this film.
