Twenty hours from our starting point, we finished building the set walls and putting them into position. It was great working with such an awesome crew to do everything. That being said, we still aren’t even done with the set as a whole. Our whole crew of about twenty split up into teams, such as styrofoam cutting, set furnish designing, painting, set building, skinning, and much more. That being said, this is an incredible learning experience. I am definitely ready for the week that we put this production one step further and start shooting. Casting is scheduled for tomorrow, allowing us to get some great potential for actors.
That being said, I have been exhausted with everything. Having a twelve hour day earlier today, eight hours the day before, and another eight hours before that is pretty hectic. This whole month has been this way, but in no way am I complaining. Aside from class happening a lot, I have been forcing myself to run three miles most every day. I have run probably four of the past six days, which I am content with. I definitely feel better and have much more energy.
Alex had a decent sized set window fall on him today, rendering his ear to bleed slightly from a cut. He played it smart and attached an ice pack to his head via headband. Such a trooper for working even after an injury.
